How do we meet?

Virtual practice via telehealth HIPAA compliant video chat services. Login details sent directly to you via email or text. I also have limited access to an office space to meet in person. Currently, I am only seeing clients in person who are fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

I'm interested in EMDR therapy. What do I do next?

First we'll do a Good-Fit consultation to meet briefly and talk about the process. Referrals are provided if you decide this isn’t the best direction for your healing journey. No pressure - we want you to be comfortable!

Schedule you Good-Fit call here.

If you decide to move forward with us you’ll complete intake paperwork. All of it is done digitally through a HIPAA compliant portal to ensure protection and privacy of your health information. Once you decide it’s a good fit, we’ll verify your email address and send you access to our client portal.

What should I do to prepare for a virtual session?

Choose a quiet, private, distraction free location to have your session. Log in a few minutes early and check the video and audio on your device.

How much will therapy cost?

Individual therapy is $200 per 50 minute session. Payment is due at the time of your appointment and we will keep your payment method on file on our secure telehealth and records platform.

For group therapy, the cost of the group is stated on the information pages about that group. Group therapy requires a deposit of half the cost of the group to hold your spot with the additional other half divided up into 2 additional payments (for a $500 group, $250 deposit and 2 additional payments of $125). Group spaces cannot be filled once the group starts, so payment in full is expected even if you decide not to continue with the group.

Can I use my insurance?

We are out-of-network providers, which means we won’t bill your insurance on your behalf. That doesn’t mean your insurance won’t help cover the cost of your therapy, it means that we will provide you a statement called a “Superbill” that you submit on your own behalf to your insurance.

Why don't you do other kinds of therapy?

We are trauma specialists that want to help people make progress quickly. Once you've begun to experience a new baseline of wellness in your life through a group or EMDR therapy, it'll be time for you to graduate to a therapist who can help you contimue the momentum in your chosen direction. We love it when clients outgrow us! It is our goal to turn down the intensity of your trauma, but once that's done we'll help you figure out what's next.

I don’t think I need a therapy, I just feel stuck in a certain area…

Great! We love when people come with specific goals in mind! It’s also important to point out that our lives are like a bowl of spaghetti, not a bento box. It’s no as simple as “fixing” one area, because most of the time the area you feel stuck in is related to something seemingly unrelated to you. As trauma specialists, we help you understand those connections and improve the areas that need some healing or work.

I have a complex trauma history and I really want some relief, can you help?

At Green Circle we have specialized training in trauma, and treat all clients with a trauma-informed perspective. For complex trauma, we will create a baseline of trust and safety in the therapist/client relationship and then determine which would be the best trauma recovery therapy to apply to your situation. In addition, all of our therapists do continuing education and get clinical supervision (oversight and guidance from more advanced trauma professionals in the field) as a part of our commitment to providing the best care for you.

I like Green Circle Collective’s vibe, but I don’t really need therapy. How can I work with you?

Take a non-therapeutic workshop to learn something new about yourself and improve your self-care.

Do therapy anyway! We work with high achievers and go-getters a lot, and we know that sometimes people just need to check in and make sure they're on the right path. By establishing a relationship with a GCC therapist, you won’t have to start from square one with a new provider every time you want to level up. We have room in our schedules for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly clients.
